Guitarist/singer/songwriter John Michael's presents "I Am JM". This collection boast features from New Orleans rap veteran Choppa to NOLA's hottest current talents, Richie B, Y Luck (The Rap Pack), Diesel, & V-Star. The homie Dappa (PSP) comes through to show his support on a JM collabo too.

The compositions range from lush, soulful ballads to pop dance productions. All songs are written and produced by John Michael. This project is a FREE gift to John's longtime supporters. Please feel free to make a donation which will be used to market and promote John's first full length album release.

#Ready is the new buzz single for this project. The video for #Ready is shot in a cinematic feature film style by Zaire Jones (Lil Kim, Maino, & more) and set against New York's Times Square. The song production is anchored by John's live guitar work that carries the melody and drives this catchy rhythmic song. #Ready rides like a pop track with vocals reminiscent of Motown soul. In short, it's addictive and will force you to press rewind repeatedly. The video is beautiful with a hallway scene of flooding light as John sings to his love interest portrayed by the lovely and talented actress/model, Shanika Robinson. It's her ability to portray the emotional impact of John's vocal that draw you into the video. Watch, enjoy, and share this experience.
